The 2024 Asia Model Festival ‘FACE of China Taipei road to high1 Resort with X.I.E.L & Dear Kristin’ was held at Taipei WESTAR on August 22, co-hosted by the Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee (AMFOC, Chairman Yang Eui-sik) and EELIN Entertainment (CEO Chen Wanjuo) and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Among the 700 models who applied from all over Taiwan, 23 (11 females and 12 males) were selected through the final audition and performed in the UCCU swimsuit fashion show, Jasmina Galleria dress brand, and Time man suit brand fashion show. Finally, Huang Kai Jun (male) and Chang Ling Chi (female) were selected and will represent Taiwan in the 2024 Asia Model Festival Face of Asia.
The judges included AMFOC Director Lee Sang-hee, Ilin Entertainment CEO Chanteresa, actress Janelle Shai, producer Chan Ji-hong, TPOP Entertainment CEO James Chan, and ADATA Technology CEO Simon Chen.
In particular, this event featured a duet congratulatory performance by Taiwanese singers Boris Wang and Ally Shen.
Meanwhile, the ‘Asia Model Festival’ is Asia’s largest event involving models, fashion, and beauty-related industries. With 25 Asian countries participating, it is faithfully fulfilling its role as an online and offline platform for the global market entry of related industries through cultural industry exchanges between countries.
The ‘2024 Asia Model Festival’ will be held from October 30 to November 3 at the Kangwon Land Hotel Convention Center with various contents such as Face of Asia, Asia Open Collection (Kids & Seniors, Asian Designer & Brand Fashion Show, Asia Model Awards, and Global Beauty Contest. High1 Resort, X.I.E.L, Dear Kristin, exobody, Oracle Dermatology, Koala Karma, RAYDEL, LINE COLLECTION·LINE HOMME, Giverny, Arkwell, Slmit, Daegyeong University, UZNEX, B2G Games, and The Diet 0313 will participate.
