The 2024 Asia Model Festival ‘FACE of MALAYSIA road to high1 Resort with X.I.E.L & Dear Kristin’ was held on August 23rd at the HGH Convention and Arts Center in Kuala Lumpur, co-hosted by the Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee (AMFOC Chairman Yang Eui-sik) and International Celebrity Pageant Group Sdn Bhd (CEO Lennard Tan), and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Out of approximately 600 models who applied from all over Malaysia, 18 (13 females, 5 males) were selected through a preliminary screening that took place three times and presented various fashion shows including group uniforms and Malaysian designer brands EVITA MAIRESSE, IZWANI, and OUTDWELL. Nur Nadia Natasha (female), Ethan Tam Ming Hao (male) and Kiki Khor Xiangqi (female) have been selected to represent Malaysia at the 2024 Asia Model Festival Face of Asia.
On this day, Nu Nadia Natasha was honored with not only being selected as the representative model of Malaysia, but also receiving the GL Award from Korea.
The judges included AMFOC Chairman Yang Eui-sik, Director Lee Sang-hee, Intro-K CEO Christine Park, Malaysian top model Amber Chia, Designers Association Advisor Gillian Hung, Top Model Elin Young, Model Trainer Benji Ong, CEO Calvin Leo, 2024 International Pamela Yau, Photographer Alexio Yeo, 2020 Face of Malaysia Representative Ashraf, and 2016 Miss Model World Malaysia Celine Suen.
In particular, the Malaysian Kids Model Event was held together with this event, where the kids models’ fashion show and congratulatory performance were held. The kids models who participated on this day will participate in the 2024 Asia Open Collection ‘Kids & Senior’ fashion show held in Korea as Malaysian kids models.
Meanwhile, the ‘Asia Model Festival’ is the largest event in Asia where the model, fashion, and beauty industries come together. With 25 Asian countries participating, it is faithfully fulfilling its role as an online and offline platform for the global market entry of related industries through cultural industry exchanges between countries.
The ‘2024 Asia Model Festival’ will be held from October 30 to November 3 at the Kangwon Land Hotel Convention Center with various contents such as Face of Asia, Asia Open Collection (Kids & Seniors, Asian Designer & Brand Fashion Show, Asia Model Awards, and Global Beauty Contest.
High1 Resort, X.I.E.L, Dear Kristin, exobody, Oracle Dermatology, Koala Karma, RAYDEL, LINE COLLECTION·LINE HOMME, Giverny, Arkwell, Slmit, Daegyeong University, UZNEX, B2G Games, and The Diet 0313 will participate.
