The 2024 Asia Model Festival ‘Face of Hong Kong road to High1 Resort with GL & Dear Christine’ (hereinafter referred to as Face of Hong Kong) has come to a successful close.
The Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee (hereinafter referred to as AMFOC, Chairman Yang Eui-sik) announced on the 9th that ‘Face of Hong Kong’, co-hosted with ACE (CEO Yong Heo) and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, was held at the Hong Kong Data Technology Center on August 31st.
On that day, 8 models selected from 400 Hong Kong models performed on stage, showing off various fashion shows such as swimsuits, group uniforms, traditional costumes, dresses, and tuxedos. The judges were AMFOC Director Lee Sang-hee of Korea, Hong Kong President Angel Tong, CEO Yong Heo, CEO Carmen Choi, and celebrity Miko Wong. As a result, Wong Lung Ching (female) and Chung Nok Yin (male) were selected as the top two and will represent Hong Kong in the 2024 Asia Model Festival Face of Asia.
Meanwhile, the final stage of this competition, Face of Asia, will feature male and female elite models representing Asia who have passed regional preliminaries in up to 25 countries including Korea, Japan, China, Mongolia, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and India.
This competition is a competition to select the best model in Asia, and it aims to select representatives from each country while also exchanging and communicating Korean-related industries and culture with Asia.
Meanwhile, the ‘Asia Model Festival’, which is celebrating its 19th anniversary this year, is an event where the largest model, fashion, and beauty-related industries in Asia come together. With 25 Asian countries participating, it is faithfully fulfilling its role as an online and offline platform for the global market entry of related industries through cultural industry exchanges between countries.
The ‘2024 Asia Model Festival’ will be held at the Kangwon Land Hotel Convention Center from October 30 to November 3 with various contents such as Face of Asia, Asia Open Collection (Kids & Seniors, Asian Designer & Brand Fashion Show), Asia Model Awards, and Global Makeup Competition.
High1 Resort, X.I.E.L, Dear Kristin, exobody, Oracle Dermatology, Koala Karma, RAYDEL, LINE COLLECTION·LINE HOMME, Giverny, Arkwell, Slmit, Daegyeong University, UZNEX, B2G Games, The Diet 0313, and TIMEREA are participating.
