‘Face of Japan’, which will determine the representative Japanese models who will participate in the 2024 Asia Model Festival, has been completed.
The 2024 Asia Model Festival ‘Face of Japan road to High1 Resort’ was co-hosted by the Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee (AMFOC Chairman Yang Eui-sik) and Japan’s IMPACT LLC (CEO Takaomi Deguchi) and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the 19th. It was successfully held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo, Japan.
On this day, 17 models (10 female, 7 male) selected from over 500 models from all over Japan showed off their individual charms. They presented a fashion show wearing a variety of outfits, including group uniforms, casual clothes, LIVE LOVE LAUGH dresses, and tuxedos. Through this, Hanna Matsumoto, Taichi Hirose, and Hina Haruse were selected to represent Japan at the ‘2024 Asia Model Festival Face of Asia’ held this fall.
The event was judged by AMFOC Chairman Yang Eui-sik, IMPACT LLC CEO Deguchi Takaomi, Kotap Media CEO Daewha, 2023 Face of Japan representatives Hikaru and Sayaka Kaneko, FOJ Director Akiko Sugano, Yeosu Ramada Hotel CEO Lee Yong-baek, and senior model Hwang Jeong-mi. Participated as a committee member.
Face of Asia is a competition in which male and female elite models representing Asia, who have gone through regional preliminary rounds in up to 25 countries, including Korea, Japan, China, Mongolia, Philippines, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Indonesia, Bangladesh and India, gather in Korea to select Asia’s best model. In addition to selecting representatives for each country, it also functions as a platform for Korean-related industries and culture to exchange and communicate with Asia.
Meanwhile, the ‘Asia Model Festival’, which celebrates its 19th anniversary this year, is Asia’s largest event involving model, fashion, and beauty-related industries. 25 Asian countries are participating, faithfully serving as an online and offline platform for related industries to enter the global market through cultural industry exchanges between countries.
‘2024 Asia Model Festival’ will be held at the Gangwon Land Hotel Convention Center from October 30 to November 3. A variety of contents will be presented in a splendid manner, including Face of Asia, Asia Open Collection (Kids & Senior, Asian Designer & Brand Fashion Show), Asia Model Awards, and Global Makeup Contest. high1 Resort, X.I.E.L, Dear Kristin, exobody, Oracle Dermatology, Koala Karma, RAYDEL, LINE COLLECTION·LINE HOMME, Giverny, Ark Well, Seulmit, Daekyung University, UZNEX, B2G Games, and The Diet 0313 are participating.
