Kyrgyzstan’s top models who will perform on stage at Kangwon Land’s High1 Resort have been decided.
The Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee (AMFOC, Chairman Yang Eui-sik) announced on the 22nd that the 2024 Asia Model Festival ‘Face of Kyrgyzstan road to High1 Resort’ was held at Dordoi Plaza (DORDOI PLAZA) in Bishkent, Kyrgyzstan on the 19th.
This competition was co-hosted by AMFOC and Kyrgyzstan Avanto Models (CEO Vitalina Shevchenko) and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. High1 Resort, Daekyung University, UZNEX, B2G Games, and The Diet 0313 are participating.
On this day, 23 models (10 female, 13 male) selected out of about 400 models from Kyrgyzstan appeared on stage and presented various fashion shows including group uniforms, traditional costumes, and dresses.
The judges include AMFOC director Lee Chang-yong, Avanto Models CEO Vitalina Shevchenko, makeup artist Keldybek Kvenera, Kyrgyz top model Shirin Buu, dentist and famous influencer Dorogeldiev Rustam, and 2022 Face. Dolkunbek Khz Vanessa, the representative model of Kyrgyzstan, did a great job.
As a result, Degtyareva Tatiana (female), Essenzanova Nuray (female), and Ormonov Beksultan (male) were selected to represent Kyrgyzstan at the 2024 Asia Model Festival Face of Asia.
Meanwhile, Face of Asia, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, is Asia’s largest model competition with participation from up to 25 countries, including Korea, Japan, China, Mongolia, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and India.
This is a competition where elite male and female models representing Asia, who have passed regional preliminary rounds held in each country, gather in Korea to select the best model in Asia. It also serves as a platform for exchange and communication between Korean-related industries and culture with Asia.
