2019 Asia Model Festival ‘FACE of MONGOLIA with MyGenomeBox’, where Mongolian models competed for the right to represent the country at 2019 Asia Model Festival, was successfully held at the UB Place Royal Room in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on July 7.
‘FACE of ASIA’ is Asia’s largest new fashion model contest held together with Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee (Chairman Yang Yi Sik), Asian models and fashion-related partners from all around the world. It is an international exchange event that is a part of ‘Asia Model Festival’ composed of Asia Model Awards, Asia Beauty Festival’, and others.
More than 25 countries, including Republic of Korea, Mongolia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Dubai, Singapore, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Macau, are participating.
This event was hosted by Asian Model Festival Organizing Committee and Mongolia BBQ (Chairman Kim Il Han), and sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Mongolia (Ambassador Jae Nam Jeong), The Korean Association in Mongolia, NES OIL, Sunjin Grand Hotel, Mongolian Model Agency, and others. Also, the main sponsor of the local competition, MyGenomeBox (CEO Shin Sang Chul) introduced the application of 'Eone Diagnomics' (EDGC), which launched a number of health and beauty apps on the global gene-based sharing economy platform, attracting praise and attention of many visitors.
The judges for the event were Yang Yi Sik, chairman of the Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee, Shin Sang Chul, chairman of MyGenomeBox Co., Ltd., Lee Jun Ho, Lotteria Mongolia chairman, Goh Myung Han, chairman of KOMH Holdings, Park Beom Il, attorney, Seottetoya. Asian Model Agency CEO, Azjaya, an attorney from M&Z Law Group, Bayanjezek, CEO of Miss Mongolia Association, Mungchol, Auditor of Mongolian Website Association, Asia's Top Model Eo Yonggeel, Etno Salon Designer Oranchimek, and others.
In the event, 2 males and 3 females were selected through a free dress round, swimsuit competition, traditional costume competition, and dress competition. The final selected model will be given the opportunity to become an exclusive model for the sponsor, appear in TV series, and get new opportunities as an advertising model. The winner will represent Mongolia in the '2019 Face of Asia' in Korea next year.
The Face of Mongolia winners this time were Kh.Suvdansondor, B.Tegshjargal, B.Odgerel, E.Amgalanbat , B.Mandakhbayar, respectively. The final winner, Kh.Suvdansondor, was honoured with a ticket to the Grand Prix along with the MyGenomeBox Award.
