An official announced on the 25th that the Asian Model Festival Organizing Committee (AMFOC Chairman Yang Eui-sik) under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the International Social Influencer Association (ISIA Chairman Jeong Jun-ho) signed an MOU for mutual cooperation at the AMFOC Studio on the 21st.
Through this MOU, a mutual cooperation agreement was signed to produce new cultural content that can grow sustainably and revitalize the Asian model, fashion, and influencer-related industries.
The Asia Model Festival is Asia’s largest model, fashion, and beauty-related industry event for 18 years, and 25 Asian countries participate, serving as an online and offline platform for related industries to advance into the global market through cultural industry exchanges between countries. Among the 25 Asian countries, the selection of representative models for each country was completed through local events, including Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Tuva, and Bangladesh, and the ‘2024 Face of Korea’, a Korean representative model selection contest, will be held at World K-Pop Center Crest 72 in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul on the 4th of next month.
The International Social Influencer Association is a non-profit organization that supports influencers active through social media and various digital platforms and aims to strengthen their capabilities.
We help influencers create social, cultural, and economic value, provide opportunities for collaboration through a global network, and operate education and mentoring programs.
We are also working to ensure that influencers have a sustainable social impact by encouraging responsible content creation and ethical behavior.
AMFOC Chairman Yang Eui-sik said, “Influencers are exerting a lot of influence as creators of new cultural content and are recognized as an important medium for global cultural exchange and various related industries,” adding, “In line with this global era, the International Social Influencer Association “We will do our best to help Korea’s related industries and popular culture receive greater recognition by utilizing the global infrastructure and content built over the 19 years of the Asia Model Festival.”
ISIA Chairman Jun-ho Jeong said, “We are very pleased to be able to create new cultural content and revitalize related industries through this agreement,” adding, “We will continue to cooperate with AMFOC to contribute to raising Korea’s status on the global stage through more diverse and creative projects.” “I want to do it,” he said about signing the MOU.
