The Myanmar representatives who will participate in the largest model competition in Asia to be held in Gangwon-do in November have been decided. The Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee (Chairman Yang Eui-sik, AMFOC) announced on the 18th that the 2024 Asia Model Festival ‘Face of Myanmar road to High1 Resort with GL & Dear Christine’ was held at the Sedona Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar on the 14th.
On this day, 20 models (10 female, 10 male) selected from 600 models applied from all over Myanmar presented various fashion shows including group uniforms, designer brands, dresses, and tuxedos.
As a result, Min Thant (male) and Caroline (female) were selected and will represent Myanmar in the 2024 Asia Model Festival Face of Asia.
The judges included AMFOC Director Lee Sang-hee, Kauli University Professor Wai Yan Mang Mang, Real Fitness General Manager Kojin Lin Sant, fashion designer Sar Tra, makeup artist Ma Hthet, Imperial Diamond Aunty Lei Khaing CEO, 2018 Face of Myanmar Chun Chun, 2012 Myanmar representative Han Thi, and Tunkoko.
In addition, Myanmar singers May Kha Lar and Bik Te performed congratulatory performances. Meanwhile, the ‘2024 Asia Model Festival’ will open at the Kangwon Land Hotel Convention Center from October 30 to November 3.
